Do I need a COVID-19 vaccine to join an Intrepid trip?

Trips from 1 January 2023 onwardsFrom 1 January 2023, Intrepid will no longer require travelers to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (excluding all Polar trips and select adventure cruises).However, we continue to strongly recommend that all Intrepid travelers and leaders get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.Specific proof of testing or vaccination may still be required by your destination or airline. Please ensure you check travel and entry requirements carefully.

When is the best time to visit Bryce Canyon?

There's no 'best' time to visit Bryce Canyon as each season offers something slightly different. Our trips run in the summer between May and September when the weather is consistently warm and sunny — and perfect for exploring! The weather in spring and fall can be unpredictable and nights are chilly, while winter sees freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall.

        Often described as a ‘forest of stone’ and a ‘cave without a roof’, the hoodoos in Bryce Canyon are breathtaking. Sure, you might've seen similar formations in Turkey’s Cappadocia region or Australia’s Pinnacles Desert, but they're nothing like this. These towering spindles of red rock have been sculpted by millions of years of erosion, and each one is unique in shape, texture and colour — ranging from bright orange to rose pink.

Our holiday to Western America was nothing short of amazing! We travelled as a multi generation family, ranging from 67 to 13. We saw some of the best scenery ever, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon just to name a little of what we saw. Our tour guide Indy was brilliant, his knowledge of the area was absolutely incredible. We would 100% book an Intrepid trip again, we are already looking at where to go next. Everything about our trip was just amazing! We've seen some of the best scenery Western America has to offer. Our tour guide Indy was just the best, super organised, and very knowledgeable. We would 100% recommend an Intrepid Trip to everyone :-)

The western national parks tour is an incredible adventure. It is unbelievable how much we saw in 5 days and yet I never felt rushed. Our guide was excellent and incredibly organized. Everything was so well planned and felt completely taken care of. It was literally stress free allowing me to focus on the incredible experiences and sights.

This was the most incredible trip. I never been to this part of the country and my mind was blown away. Our guide was awesome. She took care of us. She was enthusiastic. She made sure that we knew all the facts about the areas we are in. We did things that were challenging that I was very excited about and I succeeded at. I walked away with confidence to move forward in the life even more. I love intrepid travel. I love the group size. I love the fact that this group was international even though it was in the US. This is my second trip with intrepid and I plan on making a third one in the near future. Have any hesitations just call book that trip. You will love Intrepid travel. If you have not been to these parks go they will blow your mind. You will love them!.
