I did research on internet regarding travel in India and everything was better than I expected. From booking, to a few online chat queries to meeting Intrepid staff at Delhi airport all went smoothly. Having travelled in Africa and Turkey the hotels were better than I expected. Maddy Singh or group leader did an excellent pre start briefing and put us to rest about suitable clothing, toilet facilities and how long between stops, tipping, ecological tourism, what water can be drunk, riding the Metro. etc. His local knowledge was extensive and the specialist guides were informative and amusing. Food choices were great ranging from restaurants to street food with advice on what not to eat and drink to avoid the Delhi belly. The 8 days were exhausting but I enjoyed every minute. Couldnt recomend more highly.

Really enjoyed the trip. Our guide Maddie was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the trip. Great country to visit and I will definitely consider returning.

What a privilege and pleasure to have leader Madan Singh show us through this whirlwind of a tour. I feel that there us so much I won't have seen, understood or appreciated without him.
