Jacky, our guide, was incredibly helpful and patient with our group. I appreciate all his knowledge of landmarks we visited. He went above and beyond to help the group.
Our accommodations in China, however, were disappointing. The dongfang hotel in Beijing did not have air conditioner and overcharged us for laundry without much explanation. The Tibetan hotel in Xiahe was also less than desirable. Hot water wasn’t always available for showers and we didn’t receive enough towels for personal use or for the floor so the bathroom was very slippery making this a potential grave danger.

Brilliant trip to get a flavour of China when tight on time. Leon, the guide was fantastic. Really ensured everyone had the best experience for them in a diverse group of people of various ages and physical abilities. Wonderful experience.
