Go on this trip! Fab guide, fab itinerary, do be aware of amount of time on the bus (given in itinerary) but this did not hamper my enjoyment in anyway - the bus was modern and spacious with an excellent driver. You get a real taste of Morocco with a great 2 night stay on the coast - highly recommend!

We could not have enjoyed this trip more. It was wonderful seeing smaller towns and the countryside of Morocco. There were too many highlights to mention, but key ones were the hike in the Atlas Mountains (and stay in guesthouse there) and the awe-inspiring time at the desert camp. I also felt like the length of the trip was just right. Our guide, Mohamed, was a spectacular leader. Always kind, respectful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This was my third Intrepid trip — all have been wonderful but this was the best yet.

I went on this trip with my two lads and they said that it was the best holiday that they have ever had. We loved the country and found the people so welcoming and friendly. It was a great mixture of city life, peaceful mountain scenery and relaxation on the Atlantic coast. So much was packed into one week and yet the pace felt relaxed and enjoyable. I hope to see some more of Morocco one day, such a beautiful country, and our guide, Mohammed Azabi, was fabulous, so gentle, kind and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend this trip. I took my 12 year old granddaughter who absolutely loved it. It helped that there were others of her own age, and some slightly older who were more than willing to join in the fun and games. We were on the move all the time (motion sickness tablets recommended if in doubt - not least for the camel ride!). A pack of cards for the evenings worked brilliantly. All in all, a wonderful experience. Bring on the next one (while she still wants to come with her old granny!)

I could not say enough positive things about Intrepid. This was my first time going on a trip like this as a solo traveller and at 53 years old, I was not sure how comfortable I would feel. However, the tour is so well-planned with amazing opportunities to do and see things that I would never have been able to do on my own. I love that it is "off the beaten path" and you do not feel like you are just doing tourist activities. From seeing how people live in villages made of mud and straw supporting themselves making pottery to experiencing the majestic Sahara desert, this trip will leave me with memories that will last forever.
