  • This trip involves daily hikes ranging in distance from 3.4 - 8 miles (5.5 - 13 km) with a total trip distance of up to 24 miles (39 km). Daily elevation gain/loss ranges from 850 ft (260 m) to 1800 ft (550 m).
  • On this trip, you’ll be required to carry a daypack weighing approximately 8-12 lb (3.5 to 5.5 kg).
  • This trip requires strong hiking and balance skills as well as competent upper body strength to ascend iron rung ladders. It is not suitable for anyone with a fear of heights.

5.This trip is operated and run by Wildland Trekking, an Intrepid company. You will be travelling with a mixture of both Wildland Trekking customers and Intrepid customers.

6. You will meet your hiking guide and group in Bangor, Maine the morning of Day 1. Your guide will be in contact approximately 2 weeks before your trip to coordinate the exact time and location of the rendezvous, which will depend on current weather and road conditions. This trip concludes at approximately 5:00 PM on the last day.

7. A single supplement is available if you’d prefer not to share a room on this trip. The single supplement applies to all nights on your trip and is subject to availability. Please speak to your booking agent for further information.
